It depends on the effect you wish to achieve:
to have a contrast harmony go with violet/ purple, to have a likeness harmony go with same shade, but darker tone. Green would also be good, as would be blue...
But the thing is that no matter what colour you choose be sure that you choose the correct shade of the whatever-colour you are using, otherwise the result won't look as good it should.

Has anyone else used peach on the 2008 project? if so what other color did you use with it?

I am still wondering what color to use with peach or if there is a lighter or darker shade of peach. Please help! Thank you!

Jennifer, Do you have a number for the peach color that you are thinking of using for your base color? I would like to give you some input -- just a personal opinion, of course -- but to me there is a big range of "peach" colors. What are you thinking of as a starting point?:confusion

Jennifer, I rather like the thought of a peaches and cream effect, or even a cream mottled look or maybe natural which would give it a more rustic look.
Have you looked at the WIP gallery for this project? Lots of different colour combinations in there.
I went with navy blue on antique white because it matches my decor, but saw one in the gallery that was white done on very pale blue and wish I had done that. It is so pretty and delicate looking.
Good luck in making a final choice :]
