Hi!!

I've bought yesterday 4 care bear cross stitch kits. And of course, I want to do a few of each. They give us the number of the color but not the company of the floss.... I hope somebody can help me....all the numbers are in the 6000' black is 6150 and white is 6149

thank you

Mousse643,

What company makes the floss. It sounds like it might be Dimensions. If so, you can contact them asking for a conversion to DMC (or one of our conversions here).

I went to a floss converter and used the two numbers you gave and in did turned out to be Dimension. Hope this helps.

I found this site that will help you with your conversions, it even has the colours displayed as well.

There was 2 websites mentionned care-bears.com which is only for the brand but they had an email address. the other website is www.mcgtextiles.com. they don't have an email adress only the phone number(I live too far away...) and a civilian adress and I'm sure they won't answer me back... And good try with dimensions!! Black and white works!!! but all the other colors aren't existing. the are not listed with other dimension colors for exemple (6191, 6295, 6244, 6318) I'll check a second time maybe it's because I'm not used to that website....

Sew and So (UK) lists Care Bear kits on their website as "Care Bears Collection from DMC".

Did another scratch around and found this conversion chart that has your numbers. It also has "Care Bears" Kits and so it looks promising:

The floss is Anton (never heard of this before)
