I need help...............

I have a pattern that use the following floss from DMC. I need some help to find this floss or the equivalent of this floss using regular DMC floss.

4230
4240
4200

Marsha, I'm assuming that your project calls for these new thread colors, but you can't find it in a store or shop near you? I compared the online color card for these new colors to my DMC color card with actual floss samples and if it were my project, I would substitute 106 for 4200; 93 for 4230 and 103 for 4240. This is just a guess on my part, since I don't know what the project actually looks like. Just a judgment call based on the overall shade of the new colors. Hope this helps.:grin:

Just want to point out that the colors you are looking for are DMC Color Variations threads. If you substitute regular DMC thread, it will give a different look to the project. I think Joann, Michaels or Hobby Lobby should have these if you have such a store near you. If not, a LNS would certainly have them. If you really would like to use them, I could get them and send them to you. Just let me know if you would like to do that?

yes color variations add a special something..gives it more dimension.I was also going to offer to try to track them down for you but I see it has been offered. I don't have a LNS near me only craft stores..

:flower:Thanks Poetinme, Leftyxstitcher and Debeswan. I was thinking rayon floss for some reason. Didn't even think about the color variation floss from DMC.
