Hi, Birthe
Perhaps you could help me with a problem I have. I am interested in doing a bodilbroderie design which is Angel2003. The problem I have is the color chart. Dansk Blomstergarn are the words above the color chart, but I wanted to know if DMC could be substituted. As I live in the United States, I have no idea what those two mean.
Could you find out what the DMC equivalents would be for the color numbers in the chart?
I will be anxiously awaiting your reply.
Carol

Dansk Blomstergarn is a floss brand ("Danish Flower Yarn" or something similar - I only speak rusty Swedish :]) and, as far as I know, it is also available in some places in States.

ETA: Click (http://www.laura-stitch.it/tabelle/conversione%20danish%20flower%20thread%20dmc%20flo wer%20thread.htm) for the conversion (this can be found from Spesific Conversions thread from this same forum).

CarolI have been told Danish Flower Thread is not manufactured any more, and that designers like Permin are switching over to DMC Flowerthread.
Check out the links I listed here:

I don't know if any of them will help you?
It's a pretty basic design, you know - only 4 colours.
#230 is Perivinkle (Blue)
#304 is Cornflower (Blue)
#47 is goldenrod (Yellow) and
#32 is Dark Grey.
If you look at the picture you should be able to pick out those colours.
You could also do them with DMC Floss...

Birthe,
Thank you so much for the help with colors in the angel pattern. From here, I can pretty much do the rest. However, I would like to change the Goldenrod to Gold metallic and the dark grey to Silver metallic. Do you think that would be possible?
