DMC- English to American

Hello Ladies,
I have ordered and received a cross stitch chart I ordered from England. I am assuming that the DMC D117 code is the average 6 thread floss we buy here in the states. Is this correct?? If that is right are the numbers the same?? If not is there a conversion chart out there that someone knows about.

AFAIK, DMC color numbers are the same the world over. Art 117 is, indeed, six strand cotton floss.
